The key to avoiding discouragement is to remain in our house of self-knowledge, grounded in the humble truth of who we are as children of our heavenly Father.
Thank you Jenny! I will remember that discouragement comes from the evil one, and when I feel it I will make a heavenly glance, make the Sign of the Cross, and stay close to the Sacred Heart of our Jesus.
As (Anna's) comment states, I too, thank you! So you've given a blessing through St Catherine of what my journey needs and just in time by all the graciousness a fellow disciple of Jesus Christ can bear.
Thank you so much for these posts, Jenny. They are always so rich with wisdom, so helpful and encouraging. And their timing is always so perfect too- feeding into things the Lord is teaching me and growing me in. Grateful for you.
