Men of Hope Podcast: World Between Worlds

Hosted by Bernhard Streisselberger

I recently had an incredible talk with Bernhard Streisselberger of the Men of Hope podcast. I love discussing anything about St. Catherine of Siena, and I could have talked for hours. Luckily for those who want to listen, we only chatted for 45 minutes!

In this episode, Bernhard and I discussed my book, World Between Worlds: A novel based on the early life of Caterina, the Mystic of Siena. He asked about the origins of the book—how I came to write it, and the research I did to ensure its historical accuracy. We also discussed Catherine’s vision for her life, based on Divine Will, and the opposition she experienced from family and clergy alike. Her theology, mystical experiences, and devotion to the blood of Christ rounded out our conversation.
