"I am she who is not" reminds me of how St. Mary of Egypt referred to God only as, "Thou Who made me." From her nothingness and awareness of her own unworthiness, she looked to Him as Creator to affirm her own existence and seek His will for the life that He alone sustained, for a reason, for love and glory by His goodness.
Just what I needed to hear! Lately I find myself overwhelmed due to the state of our nation and the world! I feel I am not doing my part to make this a better world, or at least the area of the world I live in. Lately my main prayer has been the Surrender Prayer and Novena. Your words give comfort and hope!!!
One thing to remember is that little things are what pleases Jesus. We're not all called to do huge things in the world, but little things done with great love do more good and contribute much more to our world than we even realize. Be a Little Flower and you shall bloom in His love and mercy! :)
Thank you, and,I should know this since the Little Flower is my patron saint!!!
